Hot Chocolate Waffles Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs (room temp)
- 1 single serve size carton of TruMoo Chocolate Milk (1 cup)
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- whipped cream
- chocolate chips
Sift flour into a large bowl. Mix all dry ingredients together. In a second bowl whisk eggs until frothy, then add TruMoo and vanilla extract. Whisk melted butter with the egg mixture. Add egg mixture with dry ingredients, mixing until well combined. If it’s too thick add a little more TruMoo! Fold in marshmallows & chocolate chips. Spoon about 1/4 or so cup on to a medium heat waffle iron for about 3-4 minutes or until golden and lifts off easily. Serve with whipped cream on top, sprinkled with chocolate chips.
How delicious does this look?
My kids LOVED it and I have every intention of making these again for them with TruMoo!
