I recently had the opportunity to check this bad boy out and let me tell you that it did not disappoint. I got to spend an entire week with this sleek and clean car and it was entirely too short. The 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer SEL is sporty, classy, sleek all in one affordable vehicle. I could quickly see why this is one of the top-rated sedans for families.

Having two kids, it is important for me to have a vehicle that has plenty of leg room and tons of trunk space for groceries, school gear, sports equipment and everything in between. The 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer offers all of that and then some. The roomy interior is just the start of how amazing this car is. Check out a few of my favorite features:

  • Inside you will find leather everywhere, from the seats to the surface.
  • The review mirror is set for auto dim, which is great when you are driving at night.
  • The 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer SEL can tell when it is raining and has automatic windshield wipers and corresponding headlights.
  • Top of the line audio system featuring a 6.1″ touch panel display and rear camera.

That is just the tip of the iceberg, the interior is sleek and screams luxury (of course, without the luxury price tag). The exterior is just as impressive. Along the outside of the Mitsubishi Lancer SEL, you will notice perfect 16″ two-tone alloy wheels, keyless entry, halogen headlights, green laminated windshield and much more. A car like this, for the price, you wouldn’t expect much more but the engine is just as impressive. This particular model has a 168HP 2.4L engine, getting you 23 MPG city and 31 MPG highway. Seriously, what more could you ask for?!

I loved the Lancer for my family of 4 for it’s affordability, compactness, and driver comfort. Because my kiddos are little (6 years old), they didn’t feel cramped in the back seat, but adults may find there’ isn’t a whole lot of legroom back there for them. Driver and front seat passenger have nothing to worry about – so parents, you’ll still be pretty darn comfortable. Also – I noticed there was only one seat pocket, which I thought odd, but adaptable and easy to overlook if you love everything else.

Pricing: This is the part you have been waiting for. Just what exactly would a sophisticated and luxurious sedan like this cost? The 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer SEL starts out at only $21,995! Head on over to your local Mitsubishi Dealer to test drive one today.

This looks like such a nice car! Thanks for sharing, I hadn’t taken a look inside of a Lancer in a long time. It sure looks like you and your family enjoyed it.
