My Nutrisystem Experience – Week 3

WEEK 3!

Here I am – Week 3 DOWN!

So if you can recall my weight last week (3/5/12) I was at 177.6. My weigh in this morning:

So I lost a pound 🙂 I was hoping to lose more BUT I am happy – a loss is a loss, right? I can tell you exactly why my loss was minimal. I skirted away from my regular nutrisystem regimen twice this week. On Thursday I had a couple of friends over and we ordered pizza. It wasn’t cheap national brand pizza though – it was a great local shop that does artisan style. No processed anything, all natural and organic. So yeah, that’s me justifying pizza 🙂

My second cheating moment was yesterday – we decided to go to this fantastic place in the city – they have happy hour all day Sundays. So I had a decadant dish – pulled pork with huckleberry chutney and lemon creme fraiche on a flat waffle. SO delicious.

I do have some faves from Nutrisystem this week too – I LOVE the Ham & Cheese Omelette. SO tasty! And the Arroz Con Pollo Dinner is pretty delish. I wasn’t a big fan of the Macaroni & Cheese with Beef, I found the beef bits to be chewy.

This week is the last week before heading out to New York City, so my post next week will be on Sunday instead of Monday. I’m doing a video post! I will show you everything I will be taking with me from Nutrisystem on my 10 day trip – the nice thing about Nutrisystem is that it IS easy to pack & go, many of the meals don’t need preparation!

My goal this week is go lose another 2 pounds, bring me down to 174.6 🙂

 

  • Starting Weight: 184.4 – 2/20/12

  • Current Weight: 176.6 – 3/12/12

  • TOTAL LOSSS – 7.8lbs

    I love reading your updates. Losing weight is a life goal. You have to be able to live and deviate from a “plan” to truly live your life. I think the best programs are the ones that teach you how to eat. You can choose to eat off the plan, the thing is know what you can and cannot eat. Or how much you can eat. A loss is a loss…whether it be .2 lbs or 2 lbs! You are doing great!

    I love reading your posts it gives me hope to keep trying .I also tried this program an it fide work well.I went from 222.8. to Now 177.6.when I saw that post today I was like what that’s to weird at the same weigh.So congratan keep going. It feels great .
