My Nutrisystem Experience – Week 1
WEEK 1 DOWN!
So, I just finished week 1 of Nutrisystem and I am on Day 1 of week 2. Weight-in day! Okay, just so you remember where I started:
Starting weight 02/20/2012 – 184.4
Yes, that’s right – 4 pounds down!!!
So HAPPY! With Nutrisystem I know I am going to make that goal..
I am beginning to love fruits & veggies again. I forgot how much I love crisp fuji apples, red bell peppers, and bananas. I have also cut way down on my dairy intake (I LOVE milk), so I know that has a lot of effect on my results thus far.
One thing that I have noticed – I am beginning to sleep better. Usually I don’t end up going to sleep until really REALLY late, but it seems like I am falling asleep much easier. And my energy is going back up. YAY! I need it to chase after my two little rugrats!
So far my favorite Nutrisystem dishes are:
Apple Strudel Bar (Breakfast)
Double Chocolate Muffin (Breakfast)
Chicken Salad (Lunch)
Meatball Parmesan Melt (Lunch)
Toasted Ham & Cheese (Lunch)
Butternut Squash Ravioli (Dinner)
Whole Wheat Ricotta Crepes (Dinner)
Spinach & Cheese Stuffed Shells (Dinner)
Fudge Brownie (Dessert)
Chocolate Chip Cookies (Dessert)
My not-so-favorites (not many):
Cinnamon Bun (Breakfast) – a bit chewy
Cheese Tortellini (Lunch) – better with more spices added
Citrus BBQ Glazed Pork (Dinner) – SPICY
Peppermint Cookie Patty (Dessert) tastes a bit artificial
So I have WAY more likes than not! So there you have it. Week one down!
