Modarri Modular Cars By Thoughtfull Toys (VIDEO)

Modarri is a new kind of miniature car line that’s driven with the fingers using realistic steering and suspension. Each modular car includes a chassis, hood/windshield, seat pan, seat, fenders and frame, hex tool, four wheels, front and rear suspensions and a hex tool for taking them all apart and putting them back together or better yet, mixing them up with other cars in the line.

The sleek design, modularity, use of the tool and suspension features make Modarri totally unlike any other toy cars in the market. The line is launching with a Street Car “S1,” Dirt Car “X1” and Track Car “T1.” In addition, the DIY model allows people to make completely custom vehicles with their own paint jobs. Each is $19.95. A three-pack of S1, X1 and T1 vehicles (all colored differently than the single versions of those cars) is also available at $49.95 and would make the perfect holiday gift. The cars are for kids 8 years and up, although we bet many adults will find themselves fiddling with these beauties!

My husband is a car guy. He loves shows about building and modifying vehicles and one day would love to have a cool classic car to work on. He really LOVES Modarri, because they feed into both his admiration of cars and the kid in him who loves toys. Modarri was a perfect “toy” for him. It’s well made, heavy, and all around pretty darn cool.

Yep, on his desk at work...

Yep, on his desk at work… not quite sure what the goat is doing…

Of course, that doesn’t stop Dylan from taking them. They are actually perfect size for his little friend “Emmet”…

The cool thing about these Modarri cars is that you can take them apart – AND put mix & match their parts!

You can even get a blank Modarri car and customize it with paint, stickers, or anything else you may want.
